Denise Yoko Berndt

Denise Yoko Berndt got her first library card aged two and wrote her first short story aged eight. The plot? A female bank director robs her own bank. It took a while until her first novel but she stuck to a life of crime (in books that is!). Four cosy mysteries were followed by three thrillers set in a German university town, a stand-alone thriller based on an ancient myth and her London thriller series featuring ex-DCI Amber Fearns. When she’s not travelling the world researching book ideas, her favourite place to be is London.
